About Ethel's Fruit Cakes

CARICOM; The Caribbean Community and Common Market, which includes the Republic of Panama, is a regional group of nations that encourage common policy and economic goals.
Andrea, Ethel’s youngest child, was born and raised in the Republic of Panama where the Panama Canal resides. She loved spending time with her family while welcoming other relatives and friends during holidays, especially the Christmas holiday season.
There were many signs of the holiday season. The decorated tree, as well as hanging silver garland and colored lights in and outside the house, the excitement of the children in the house as they sneaked around trying to find where the gifts were hidden, the laughter of the family, and Nat King Cole’s “The Christmas Song” played as loud as possible. Then suddenly, sweet smells of a blend of aromatic spices throughout the house, and finally the taste of Ethel’s (Andrea’s mother) fruit cake; which for the family, truly marked the beginning of the Christmas celebration in all its splendor.
With this experience, Andrea wishes to share Ethel’s Fruit Cakes with others assuring that it will bring as much happiness to their families as it did to hers.

And last but not least, I am Andrea, Ethel’s youngest daughter. My objective is to replicate Mom’s recipe to a new and improved version by baking and decorating my fruit cakes into the shapes of seasonal images to reflect the love and the warmth of our family legacy while fitting your needs.
